Closing on a house is an exciting end to the home buying process! There’s also a lot of paperwork involved and it can be confusing. Do you know what the difference is between a loan estimate and a closing disclosure form? The Closing Disclosure form tells you (among other things):

Which figures have changed since the Loan Estimate form, and why
What your escrow payments will be and what they cover
How much real estate agents are being paid
If partial mortgage payments are permitted
If a negative amortization situation can occur with your loan
